Barnaby's Cafe is a Houston chain of neighborhood diners now, but Baby Barnaby's is the one that does only breakfast, right next door to the original Barnaby's on Fairview. Migas come loaded with tortilla strips and green chiles. The seasonal fruit pancakes rotate through flavors like lemon ricotta and apple pecan, and you can add fried wings to the buttermilk waffle for a Montrose take on a Houston classic. Weekday service ends at noon, so this is an early-riser spot, and on weekends the tables fill with regulars, strollers, and hangovers.
